Removal of existing damaged retaining wall, setout, drive new piles, construction of new timber seawall 2.0M high (1.5M below beach levels) dewatering to allow construction, new concrete scour protection (path), reinstatement of pavement (asphalt), construction of timber stairs.
Land + Sea Civil Ltd came up with an improved design for the concrete scour protection detail. Change of fixings to the retaining lagging and realignment of the wall. This project came in under budget and on time with variations included.
